Applying sutras in real life

Guruji told how difficult Sutras can turn out to be in real life sometimes ..

for Accepting people and situation as they are ..

In the ashram once there was robbery going on everyday during satsang .. things were missing from rooms and they couldnt find out who the thief was .. after few days of searching ..they came to know that there was a pregnant lady who was stealing from all the rooms .. she had a spanner and few other things in her bag and went around ashram stealing..

then they caught her n took her to the police station. there they refused to keep her as they didnt have any facilities for a pregnant lady in the police station. now they had to bring her back to ashram ..and Gurudev asked Ashramites to give her a room, food, clothing and ask her calmly as to why she was stealing in sucha condition. Ashramites were perplexed Gurudev asking them to accept a thief as she is n over that provide her with all the facilities..

Story about a Poisonous snake (as told by Gurudev)

Accept people(animals) and situations as they are

He said that once there was a poisonous cobra in the ashram which was suffering from food poison .. inspite of it being poisonous they took the cobra to the vet and after getting it cured .. they had to bring it back to the ashram .. not knowing where to leave it .. then later they took it far into the woods and leave it there ..

so he was saying sometimes they have so much trouble in the ashram when such situations arise and they have to follow the sutras in real life too .. not juz teaching it ..

Another story told by Guruji

While he was narrating the story of Auto driver.. he happened to remember another story as well ..

couldnt stop laughing while he was explaining what an auto was to the audience in states ..

Gurudev said Auto Rickshaw is a three wheeler ..and to knw what it is ..u have to take a ride once ..and if u reach ur destination safe ..u have to thank the Lord ..and then told us this story..

itseems once a priest and an Auto driver passed away and Auto driver was taken to heaven while the priest was taken to hell. Priest felt that this is injustice or there must be some mistake in the records @ heaven he asked to double check if he was supposed to go to hell while the auto driver to heaven.. they checked the records in the heaven and said ..we dont have any mistakes usually but if u want we will double check.

while they checked their records they found that auto driver made people remember god more than the priest ..thats why he was taken to heaven while the priest to hell..

Guru Story told by Gurudev himself

This incident happened 2 decades back ..

Guruji was travelling in Delhi with an elderly couple and his assistant. The elderly couple had to get off half way and go elsewhere ..then Guruji insisted that they take his car while HE and his assistant got off the car to take an auto to reach their destination.

The auto driver was overwhelmed to see Gurudev wanting to travel by his auto the sametime he was very hesitant .. He told Guruji not to mind the posters which he had put in the auto .. Gurudev said that he doesn't mind one bit.. then the driver continued saying ..the poster of the Lord he likes to put is formless .. .so he put those filmi posters ..

and continued saying that "now that i have found the form of my Lord .. i will replace it very soon" .. and also told Gurudev in sucha simpler language .. this auto is given by HIM, HE is the driver and HE is the passenger as well .. (Tears rolled down to many who were present there ..when this sentence was told by Guruji himself)

and when Gurudev got down and wanted to pay him the charge for the ride.. the driver said that I took you to your destination and you took me to mine there's no charge cancels out :-)

Imagine even the Auto driver could speak philosophy in the presence of a Satguru

The Most Beautiful Flower

The park bench was deserted as I sat down to read Beneath the long, straggly branches of an old willow tree. Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown, For the world was intent on dragging me down.

And if that weren’t enough to ruin my day, A young boy out of breath approached me, all tired from play. He stood right before me with his head tilted down And said with great excitement, “Look what I found!”

In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight, With it’s petals all worn – not enough rain or too little light. Wanting him to take his dead flower and go off to play, I faked a small smile and then shifted away.

But instead of retreating he sat next to my side And placed the flower to his nose and declared with overacted surprise,”It sure smells pretty and it’s beautiful, too.
That’s why I picked it; here, it’s for you.”

The weed before me was dying or dead. Not vibrant of colors, orange, yellow, or red. But I knew I must take it, or he might never leave. So I reached for the flower and replied, “Just what I need.”

But instead of him placing the flower in my hand, He held it in midair without reason or plan. It was then that I noticed for the very first time That weed-toting boy could not see: he was blind.

I heard my voice quiver, tears shone like the sun As I thanked him for picking the very best one. “You’re welcome,” he smiled, and then ran off to play, Unaware of the impact he’d had on my day.

I sat there and wondered how he managed to see A self-pitying woman beneath an old willow tree. How did he know of my self-indulged plight? Perhaps from his heart, he been blessed with true sight.

Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see The problem was not with the world, the problem was me. And for all of those times I myself had been blind, I vowed to see the beauty in life, and appreciate every second that’s mine.

those who are wondering what is a " Guru story" just read on and it
would be clear by the end of it.

Here is something that comes straight from a typical bollywood
blockbuster. A reel life scene experienced in real life!

One day before the chennai Utsav started something so miraculous
happened that reminded,of what is said," When you spread knowledge
nature will bend to serve (save) you".

One of the active volunteers (Anil…. He is 6ft 6 inches and weighs 90
kgs) was driving his bike on a fly over and a bus dashed him from
behind. He flew from his bike and he collided on the railing. He
toppled over and fell.... on the other side... 8 ft down on the busy
road below. It was amazing to hear the story from Anil himself . all
of u want to know what happened next since it was obvious that a
miracle had saved him.

Here is what happened. As he took off from the bridge and was fast
descending down towards mother earth a fast moving open truck carrying
"HAY" was passing by. He fell exactly inside it.. His fall was

Jai Gurudev!

very touching experience shared by a teacher

once she had gone to meet Guruji at a devotees house,She was having some problems.but she kept smile on her face in front of Guruji so that HE would not feel bad.So she was trying to hide her problem.
Later Guruji sat back in HIS car n was about to go,HE was touching everybody's hand who was standing outside the car.
but when she tried to touch HIS hand,Guruji ne unke haatho ko jor se pakad liya.n when she looked inside the car, there was tears in Guruji's eyes.HE was crying at that moment.
Later she thought "ki mera dukh itna bada to nahi tha ki mere Guru ki aakhon me aasu aa gaye."

Guruji aap bhi na BHOLENAATH HAI
